Huntington's 1866 Studio brings AI into three everyday business jobs. Waitlist registration is open, but access and promised benefits still need checking.
Writing a business plan, preparing a campaign and getting ready to approach a lender often mean starting with the same information about your business. Huntington wants owners to handle those jobs in one AI workspace.
On 19 October 2026, the US bank announced The 1866 Studio, built with Google Cloud's Gemini platform. Its proposed approach is to retain relevant business context across tasks, rather than make owners explain the business again for each job.
Huntington describes initial capabilities covering business launch plans, marketing materials and loan readiness. Launch support includes guidance on registration, licensing and operational setup. Marketing tools are intended to produce advertising copy and campaign materials. Loan preparation aims to identify gaps and explain what lenders expect.
That last function deserves careful reading. Preparing for finance does not mean receiving finance. The announcement describes assistance, not a guarantee that a lender will approve an application.
Nor is this a fully available product today. Huntington's own signup page says owners can join a waitlist, with launch planned for later this year. Existing bank customers and non-customers can register interest. Businesses outside its usual market should confirm eligibility before making plans around it.
Consider a small food business preparing a promotion. Its campaign needs to reflect the products it can supply, the customers it serves and the prices it can afford. A useful AI tool would carry that information into the draft, while letting the owner correct it.
Keeping context could reduce repeated setup. It could also repeat an old mistake. A wrong price saved in the business profile must not keep appearing in new campaigns.
Before adopting this kind of tool, ask how you update saved information, review generated work and remove business data. For registration or borrowing decisions, have the relevant adviser check the output.
For owners exploring their first AI agent, use an existing task as the test. Give it a real campaign brief, then check every price, product claim and proposed offer before anything reaches a customer.
